Clooz — last updated 18 July 2026

Clooz is a city-discovery game. We collect as little personal data as possible: only what we need to run your account and save your game progress. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

What we collect

Location

Clooz uses your location, while you are using the app, to guide you between landmarks and unlock clues when you arrive. Your location is processed on your device and compared against landmark positions in the story. We do not store your location or build a history of where you have been.

Camera and photos

Some clues ask you to take a photo; the camera is used only when you open it for a clue. Photo library access is used only if you choose to attach a screenshot to feedback. We never access your camera or photos in the background.

Where your data lives

Your account and game data are stored with Supabase, our hosting provider, on servers in the European Union. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We share data with no one else, except if required by law.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the app's profile screen. This permanently deletes your account and anonymises any remaining game records. If you no longer have the app, see how to delete your account — you can also email us (address below) to request deletion or a copy of your data.

Children

Anyone can enjoy Clooz, but the app is not designed for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
